Brenda Pearson

Executive Coach

Brenda has over 25+ years of experience across the Career and Talent Management space. She has coached and contributed to the development of thousands of leaders and students in organizations such as Nike, Carleton University, the Canadian Olympic Committee, and through multiple roles at Ivey Business School, the #1 business school in Canada and one of the top 50 in the world.

Through these experiences, patterns that she has observed is that most individuals lack confidence, harbour feelings of insecurity and/or possess a “fear of failure”. This often manifests into what is coined the “Imposter Syndrome”. Brenda believes that this is the underlying factor preventing people from realizing their full potential at work and in life. Helping individuals to level up, get out of any career “ruts” and elevate their untapped potential is at the core of her mission.

With over 10,000 hours of coaching, facilitation and interviewing, Brenda maintains that her clients have become her greatest teachers. She approaches her clients by being relatable, energetic and empathic along with a pinch of humour. She also has a strong ability to truly listen, make sense of ambiguity and translate the complex into common sense. She deeply understands that people are the heart of any organization, and her goal is to help individuals look forward to Mondays more by bringing their best and real selves to work each day (well, most days as we are human after all).

Brenda pursued an educational path at the intersection of psychology and business with a Degree in Psychology and Consumer Studies with postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management. She is trained in Personal Brand Management, CareerLeader and is a Certified Happiness Life Coach.

Brenda is a Mom of two boys currently off at university. When she isn’t “nerding” out on all things personal development, you can find Brenda cheering on the Blue Jays, cycling, planning an adventure, or getting together with loved ones.
